Modernizing Security Technology for Perimeter Surveillance
Securing large residential compounds presents unique challenges, especially when existing security infrastructure consists of multiple disconnected systems. One such location, a 300-hectare residential compound with a 5-kilometer entry road, currently employs three separate software systems to manage the entry and exit of residents, visitors, workers, and materials through two main gates. Despite the presence of approximately 180 surveillance cameras, 18 monitoring stations, and security radar systems, the site lacks a comprehensive, integrated perimeter security solution. Moreover, the monitoring of these systems is conducted by a different company than the security provider, creating inefficiencies in threat response. This white paper outlines a modernized security approach that integrates advanced AI-powered solutions to enhance perimeter surveillance, automate identification processes, and improve overall security management.
